Zegota "Reclaim!"

1. Bend And Brace For The Unexpected/an Unknown Past To An Unknown Future.

Idealized new art insurrections Awake all night so to planthe next actions Though nay-sayers said Our attempts were not misled(to be) young & strange, to transform space, with new ideas to be dangerous Some tactics change, yet the goals remain Found new lifeNew decisions Embraced new places and transition How do we live our convictions Won't let theory replace actionHave we failed Failed to change the world? Will we fail to change the world? We're still here We still believe Changing times didn't cloud our eyes We still see Wars will be waged Children raised Giving in had never looked as good Have we failed?Failed to change the world? Will we fail to change the world?Set out on the search for myself Traveled the world seeking it out Found self-realization from within Truth is just the lie of ideals This which taught my heart to fear Yet all my dears relieved byThe New Ideas

2. The Bad Days Will End (May We All Make It Through)

Take, take cover within the veilas you've cast us all out Would it end if you could just end it all?Wrap yourself in, leave this world as it is So defamed and despised within the wreckage of life Would It All End?Yes, we're fighting Hell yes, we're fightingYes, we're fighting Hell yes, we're fightingWHY?There is a reason why If we walked away from death It was hand in hand Yes, we're fighting Hell yes, we're fighting.

3.Never Trust A Cop

In a white pinstripe suit, in a stretched limousine Someone is kicking you down And in long black robes, and tall oak desk Someone is kicking you downLookin' down from an office on the 18th floor Someone is kicking you down And he's never gonna stop, as long as he lives Or as long as it lives in him There's something not rightthere's something not right there's something not rightthere's something not right there's something not right There's a telephone ringing, yet you're afraid to answer Someone is kicking you down A bottle by your bed as you lay wide awake Someone is kicking you down And nobody has to say it, nobody has to say it Someone is kicking you down And they won't ever stop as long as they live Or as long as it lives in them There's a lock on your door,But it won't keep them out There's a leash around your neck,But you don't know who holds it There's a lie in your ear,But you don't know who told it Yeah, someone is kicking you down You looked that cop right in the eyeAnd he looked you right backDEAD in the eye If every Tom Joad could meet their Joe Hill Every Holden Caulfield could meet their Thoreau YeahWe won't take ashes for the fire When there is a flameTrust yourselfIt is thereIt is there

4. Struck By The Wild

I slept as if I never were To Wake again I am your here I am your poisoner and your healer by turns Dark forces are at work here Tragic that a chorus the past Can so destroy me efforts hereI want to be a good father And I want to see my dreams You Call That Naive?Naive to think there's something more Than what this life presents? You would have my soul admit to Lay me in the ground NoBut if it naive to think that now I have to sell my soul I will not lay me down cliff after cliff after cliff after cliff after cliff after cliff This is the thin line Is that what I feel? When I take your hand into the darkness...So much weighs against our spirits but we hold each other With the strength to free what comes Every moment reveals hope or despair We find both in each To which we set our minds That is the task And we not to sleep to sound...Not to sleep to sound....Step aside You mountains of hardest stone You deserts of drowning heat Step aside Years and years and years The history of the world Means nothing Lay me in the ground I will ride across the world Step aside You gates of tempered steel You gates of heaven and hell I Am Alive

5. They Won't Fuck With Us Much Longer

(have we not been)Led, astray and transformed Confined as cultural slaves Signed their cheques with our sweat While the master's made their way So defined and in line as Capitalism leads to the grave And the worst of the crime,Their values embraced by us all Yeahhh, We are all so sacred So invited to participate Cultivate appearances To turn in upon ourselves Our autonomy will die for details Policed by the public's opinion An economy of alienationI, I can't see so clearly Am I in my place?Learned to embrace A life of constraintsand so I've held my breath...Everything falls apart This was wrong from the start We can't stay We won't stay We are the purchaser's We are the worker's We are the pillar's Here's to life without a priceto the seduction of images we've had given our lives I've had a falling out Our identity projects need but Subjective will an an eye forthe Ide The analysis: uninvest from the Myth Let's write our works in the ink of action Cast our stories upon their palace doors Displace the capitalist values of competition For the giving of cooperation As we will know A life of submission To the current cultural doctrines Is a life not worth living We are all creative May we all be subversive

6.Kosi Idina (So That Obstacles Are No More)

I sit, and Death sits nextto me, takes everything fromme. Just a song aboutfeelings. If we walked awaythere is a reason..

7. Sleepwalkers

ah, mon ami, do you know what the solitary creature is like as he wanders in big cities?...I had a dream I walked the city in my sleep And that I found my way home at last Nothing could lead me there but the things I dreamed And in the end that was all I needed It rained for the first time in Stockholm last night And dreamed from all the world's (?heeds?)And we walked hand in hand down from the museum As the whole world fell in And no one around could believe their eyes O'er one and too many more It's one of those things you die to believe is true It takes courage to see that it's not And I had a dream I walked the city in my sleep And that I found my way home at last And nothing could lead me there but the things that I dreamed And in the end that was all I needed To find my way
